Leadership

  • Leads the planning, merchandising and execution of visual floor sets, taking partnership as needed. Ensures merchandising standards are maintained.

Operating Procedures

  • Manages inventory and inventory process according to company procedure.
  • Ensures protection of all company assets, controlling internal and external loss while achieving stores shrink goals.
  • Maintains a safe work environment and takes partnership to correct any store maintenance issues.
  • Follows all company policies and procedures as well as local, state, and federal employment laws.
  • Manages payroll and all other controllable expenses.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 4+ years of retail management experience. Specialty retail experience preferred.
  • Solid business acumen and analytical skills and can confidently analyze and speak to the store’s business.
  • Proven leadership skills and strong personal presence.
  • Demonstrated success in recruiting, talent development revenue generation, and operations.
  • Excellent communication, delegation, follow-up, and time-management skills
  • Ability to work cooperatively in a diverse work environment.
  • Some travel may be required.
  • An essential function of the job is the ability to move about in a store including standing, walking, kneeling, stooping, climbing ladders, using stairs, carrying, bending, stretching, twisting, or reaching out with body, arms or legs, pulling and lifting objects up to 40 pounds. Sometimes these movements are made quickly and repeatedly.
  • An essential function of the job is the ability to work a rotating schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays, based on the needs of the business.
  • Proficient knowledge of computer systems and the ability to navigate computer/handheld systems with intermediate computer and keyboarding skills
  • High school diploma or GED required. Associates degree or equivalent in work experience.
