Softspun merino mix cable sweater

This is a very beautiful sweater, it's true to size and it's long, on the hips, how I like to wear the sweaters because that slims your figure. It's how it looks in the picture and the material is soft. I have in three colors, black, Dark Magenta and Midnight purple, all three colors are beautiful and I just wear it one of them and I am not sure about the washing, so I think I will send it dry cleaners since it has Merino.

This arrived with a very noticeable flaw at the vee where the yarn is unravelling. CWC, PLEASE check items before mailing. It frustrates me no end to have to hassle with returns because you don't do a quick inspection. I like the sweater, fit is good, purple is lovely. But, come on, CWC...this isn't the first flawed item I've had to return and I'm getting tired of it.

I received this sweater as a Christmas gift and having worn it only three times. The knit is pilling and it appears to be very poor quality. I see other reviews that reference poor quality and sizing issues and wonder what is happening with CWC. I loved buying from CWC but will now hesitate to do so.

I bought two of these sweaters to take on an overseas trip and have been very satisfied with them. Neither of them creased up in the suitcase or indeed crease up when I was wearing them. They are longer than the average sweater which is a realistic change from all those short sweaters that keep nothing warm. I wear a medium and they fitted perfectly. Long may it last!

I ordered this in the green size L. I usually wear a M or L and this fit fine except for the length. It was way too long for my 5'4" height. I don't wear leggings and over other pants it just accentuated my large belly. I really liked the material since I get very warm in heavier sweaters and this appeared to be a sweater that would be warm (because of the wool) without bulk or weight. The quality was excellent. I would have loved it except for the length. Sent it back.

I got the green in a 1X and it's a great fit but couldn't wear it any smaller. It is soft and comfortable for me, but I can feel the wool here and there that has the very slightest scratchy feel. I don't have a negative sensitivity to it, but others who do should be aware.
Also, I think this needs a nude color bra underneath due to very tiny bit of show through, at least in this color, but it's a great sweater.

I wear a 2x, this has a perfect fit, great neckline and the fabric feels very nice - so why is it going back? I just can't get past the sleeve cuff. Looks and feels like a sweatshirt cuff. Obviously this didn't bother other reviewers. Look carefully at the picture before you buy online.

I bought this a size down in XXS, wondering if I might have to return it. But it fits comfortably.

This is a beautiful sweater, and it feels soft and warm. I do find that Coldwater Creek runs larger in size than most brands. I'm a size Medium 99% of the time, but I purchased this sweater in a size small and it fits great.
