Printed jacquard dress

I wore this dress for my Anniversary Dinner and I recieved so many compliments, it fits very well, makes me look smaller in the waist and I love, love, love the pockets. This is a great vintage piece.

I don't understand the negative reviews on this dress. It has a beautiful contemporary design and the fabric is real luxe. It is not a sheath dress and it is not meant to be. At size 14 I am not slender but the dress looked great on me, true to size, fitted in the waist and flaring at the skirt with a bit of a retro flair. It makes me look youthful and gives me a waist. The full skirt is very tastefully done. It does NOT flare out like a tent. It is there to emphasize your waist! This is a unique dress and I am very glad I got it. Worth every penny.

Wow! I love this dress! It truly looks like fashion off the latest runway. The pockets are well placed and appreciated. The modern addition of exposed zipper and mesh back panel is a brilliant touch. I put it on and channeled my best Audrey Hepburn. The perfect party dress. Different and wonderful! Keep it up Coldwater!

I love the look and style and colour and zipper and details of this dress. It looks great on a hanger. But it, unfortunately, does not look great on me. I'm not exactly a "stick figure", but I usually can fill out a dress nicely. But this one is fairly tight in the waist and then the skirt really "poufs" out, and not in a flattering way. (I love retro dresses with volume, but this just looks off) I'm disappointed that the dress didn't look as good on as it does hanging up!

I soooo wanted to love this dress. After all, the fabric is smashing and the length looked fun. But I didn't almost solely because of the below waist volume of the skirt. Seriously, I am not a large person, but I looked enormously "hippy" in this dress. There are pleats AND pockets in this dress, read: volume. This is not a dress for anyone looking for a visually slimming look.

Love the skirt - all-around pleats and pockets (hooray!) - but what's up with the exposed zipper? That's a fad I'll be skipping. Looks like the back of the dress was sewn wrong-side out. I'd want to always hide it with a jacket. Pretty much negates my favorite part - the waist emphasis.

...whatever were the designers thinking?! I really, really loved this dress...but the combination of pockets (yes pockets...which do not stay flat due to the sheen of the material) and the unstitching side pleats add folds where no dress should. The pockets do not let the seam lie flat (so the picture is misleading). Perhaps if you are a size 0 and could use some extra volume in that area...but for this size 12 girl...it just didn't fly. The material is gorgeous, the colors wonderful...and the fit great...except for those pleats! I'd like to see a picture of gayle king in it...as she is a size 12 too! Anyway...it went back today.

Love the fabric. Unfortunately it doesn't come in petite. Size 6 a little loose, and size 4 is tight across bust (and I'm small). But I'm keeping the 6 because I love it so much. I usually go with 6P in CC dresses, so I guess it's true to size.

I love the fabric of this dress. Gives such a dressed up look. I wanted to keep this dress but I have wide hips which I can usually hide under a wide skirt but the way the pleats were done did not flatter me at all. Was sorry to return it today.
