Fair Isle sweater

Just got this sweater in the blue last week, and although it's now too warm to wear it, I'm thrilled that I have this to wear next winter. My usual size of medium fits perfectly. It didn't feel scratchy to me, but even if it did, I'd just wear something under. I think this will look great with jeans. No idea, yet, how it washes and wears though.

I appreciate the comments about the "itchy wool" but I would like to suggest a high neck white cotton tank top underneath the sweater. It give a nice contrast as a bit of the tank can be seen behind the cowl neck. It will not itch with this layer. My arms were fine, no issues.

I bought a blue one,the color was very beautiful. Unfortunately, the wool was a bit too scratchy against the skin and even though I'd wear a shirt underneath it.It's going back.

If you don't mind wool and you're cold all of the time, then this is the sweater for you! I couldn't wear it because of the itch - I didn't even get out the front door with it on before I had to rip it off. It was way too warm for me, but there are plenty of people out there who would love that!

Love this sweather, bought natural color. Looks good with winter white, with black velvet and denim and ...! Truly appreciate this original CWC sizing! I used to buy so many more clothes from CWC until they changed the shaping to fit women without curves. The reviews are so helpful because even what makes something unacceptable to one persons shape or style is perfect for others. Thank you CWC!

I have the grey version of the same sweater. I don't have sensitive skin or anything, but this sweater is SCRATCHY! I tried to wash it thinking that might be the issue - nope. Now not sure if I can return it. I LOVE the design and fit - nice and roomy, but it's too uncomfortable with the itchyness.

Ordered blue in 3x. Flattering for larger gal and like most CWC sweaters is still on the older (larger) sizing. Did find it scratchy but easily cured with a CWC thin, long sleeved cotton spandex tee. Luv it!

I got the blue one first, then ordered the natural too! Love the fit, the colors, and the fabric too! In fact when my mother saw it, she decided to exchange another sweater I got her for Christmas at CC for this one! And I just ordered her one in the natural too! She likes hers in a closer fit, I like mine a little roomier. We both are satisfied and very happy with our purchases! Do I recommend, YES!

This sweater is so beautiful in the natural. I have not had a problem with scratchy material, I have had a problem with to many compliments. It's very pretty...............
