Savvy swing jacket

It is difficult from the photo to see how truly wonderful this jacket is. It fits true to size and looks and feels just great. A little heavy for indoor use. Very practical. I purchased both colors.

I ordered this jacket in the emerald color after reading all of the reviews,and was somewhat skeptical that it would work for me. I am 5' 6" and weigh 135 lbs and the l0 fit me as if it was tailor made for me. As one reviewer noted, it is a classy looking jacket. I plan to dress it up with black skirt and boots to wear now and with navy pants as spring draws near.

I'm 5'2 and wear a 38D and ordered both colors since black is basic.I ordered a size 12. The chest closes perfectly and ended keeping both colors. It is well constructed, lined, and the material provides the necessary weight to maintain its shape. The jacket is definitely meant to go over over a light material top.

I was surprised at the heavier than expected weight of the fabric which is welcome as we are in the midst of NY weather. I can wear this over a turtleneck and under my loose fitting black coat and then without the coat when we get closer to spring weather. The jacket looks nice with a black turtleneck and black pants. I wouldn't recommend this jacket to ladies who are lucky to be more curvy. I'm thinner than I would like to be and tend to look better in tailored, classic clothes than in those that emphasize the figure (curves) more. For now, I'm rating this jacket as a four star but think it will be a five.

I don't know--it works for me! I ordered my regular size and it fits perfectly (not too small). I, too, didn't realize it's outerwear and actually love it even more. The emerald color is gorgeous, very different from anything I have. Nice medium-weight fabric, beautiful lining--I think the pleating in the back is very stylish from behind. Will be great with jeans or black pants. A silk scarf will really set it off.

Didn't realize this was outerwear! I live in Florida and could maybe wear this a few times a year. The fit was great.

I returned this due to the fit and also I would have liked it better with their older knit material. The emerald was very pretty, but something was off for me.......

I purchased the mid emerald jacket in size 16 and it looks great on me. I agree the fit is snug, so no heavy sweaters underneath. Just remember to gently remove the stitching holding the pleats down in back to allow for the swing!

I am so disappointed. From the front the design detail is flattering! But looking at the view from behind I discovered a very unflattering look. So awful I will be returning. & yes, runs very small. The peblum waistline is about 3" too high for me (almost under armpit) & I am short waisted. I pity those with the longer line. I believe this was a design flaw. The big disappointment is that the fabric feels so soft & as I said front view, collar up or down - tres chic. Shame on Coldwater Creek for over looking this flaw. I will add that this was "women's" size - other categories might want to chance it. -:(

Fit is somewhat tight. Could not layer with a sweater underneath and I ordered 1 size larger. Feels soft and is warm but the emerald color is not good for me so will be returning this jacket.
