Quilted down coat

This coat is a slim cut so one size up worked for me! Love the hood flexibility as "Down Under" our winters in Auckland are more like San Francisco - then again you do need a hood if caught in rain without your brollie!

I loved this coat at first. It is super lightweight and warm. However, the right sleeve lining hangs out and zipper gets caught on lining when zipping it up which is really irritating. Metal bar at end of zipper on pockets is exposed and is also wrong side out so catches and snags sleeve if you happen to rub across it. Order up a size from your normal size. If wearing bulky clothes underneath go up two sizes.

Got it today and love it but had read the reviews and they said it ran smaller I always order a Large and this a X large and it was perfect. Love it!

Very well-made but sizing is off. Medium will not fit me and I'm a size 10. Be especially wary of sizing if you have a bigger bust size.

I usually take a PS (5'2, 120 lbs) so fell between an XS and S. Even though I got the garment measurements, I have to size up. It's a beautiful coat, has a shiny surface and the fur collar I believe will plume more if spritzed and blown dry with a hairdryer. So I have plans to exchange, but note if you are interested in this that coat that it runs snug, even wearing light clothing.

My particulars: 5'4" 125lbs 32ddd 28 36 typically a size 6 sometimes 4.

Pros: Much less bulky than most down coats, cut to reveal shape of body more so than most other down coats, three different looks: faux fur on hood, faux fur off hood, hood off coat, MACHINE WASH and DRY.

Cons: Very slim cut, tight around my thighs when zipped and I am sitting, slightly tight through shoulders when I put arms forward, sleeves fall at wrist - prefer mid hand, arms slim cut also, zipper gets stuck in fabric upon zipping which could fray material and cause issues, black color a little overwhelming.

Will see if local store carries coat so I may try size M. Otherwise, I may need to order M and trial between two sizes. Size S fits but is at the fail safe limit. I will need to remember to be careful zipping.

I ordered this coat in a large. I usually run between a size 12 and 14 but do carry weight in my midsction. This coat ran really small for me, There was a good 10 inch gap from neck to hem. I do like the coat, especially the hood, light weight styling and longer length. So I ordered an XL - not sure this will fit but will give it a try! Unless you are very slim hipped and slender - order up!
