Ornate sequin blouse

I wanted this blouse for a long time because I love the rich color. I am between 12-14 and ordered an L size. It fits loosely with room to spare and I think the M would have been a nicer fit. The color is what I expected but I find the sequins overwhelming. They're too shiny and circus likely. I'd prefer something a bit more subdued so I am returning. Too ornate for my taste but that doesn't mean you won't like it. Just be prepared to plan your outfit around it, and allow for a lot of glitter.

I needed a nice top for an evening office holiday party, and this fit the bill--dressy but classy. However, as soon as I tried it on it was apparent there was a problem, which is actually evident in the photo if you zoom in. The fabric has small sequins sewn in, and they jut out along the neckline, poking into your skin. Just a minute of wear was very irritating. I did a quick surgery to remove the offending sequins and it was fine. However, it would have benefited from a subtle hemming along the neckline. Still, very pretty top!
