Cabled swing sweater

I had bought this in the red and liked it so much that I bought it in the green and white, too. This is warm, comfortable and ultra cute. I haven 't had a pilling problem. Lucky, I guess.

I feel like the "Debby-downer" of the group here. First, I wrote a review saying it's see through - across the chest. I bought a matching color long-sleeved T to wear beneath and it fit well together, was cozy not bulky. Now, after having wore it this Christmas, it pilled badly along the sleeves and sides of the chest. So disappointing. The turtleneck is also itchy. I made the mistake of wearing it on the 11 hour car ride home since pilling didn't matter and I thought it would be cozy....the itchy neck was maddening!

I bought this sweater in red for Christmas dinner---it looked great with black leggings and fit true to size. The only thing I didn't like was the neckline was very itchy---thankfully I was dressed early and realized this, so I wore a high neckline tank underneath. I didn't have the problem of seeing through the knit, so no one could tell I had something under it.

This is a beautiful sweater and amazingly soft. My only problems with it were that it was a little itchy despite the small amount of wool, and it is REALLY warm. That's a good thing if you're spending a lot of time outside, but inside I found it too warm. Otherwise I would have tried to get it in the other colors.

I actually love this sweater. It is comfy, fun and a modern twist on a classic. Love. Don't size up on this one.

I am having the same problem with mine, you can see throughout the loose knit. i luckily have a matching green colored cami...thankfully, but i don't appreciate wearing two shirts, but it is a cute style so i'll eat this one . too bad, i would have bought a few. Glad to hear i am not the only one. I was wondering if i got a bum sweater.

I own both red and the "winter white". It's not winter white, but a brownish khaki color. I almost sent it back because it does not look like the picture online, but the fit was so good I decided to keep it. The sweater is not too long (I am short waisted), and covers the small muffin top nicely. Runs true to size, maybe even a little big. I bought "L" and I normally get L to XL for shrinkage and to have a roomy fit. XL was too big.

I even bought the red, though its not a color I normally wear as I am a redhead. It's more of a tomato red. Only downside is it's a little itchy, even though its only 10% wool. Still worth it for the fit.

All the other reviews indicate that this is a well-loved sweater. It is nice, however, the knit is so loose that you'll need to wear something under it - something in a matching color to keep from being distracting. It's a cable-knit turtleneck sweater ... thin and see through shouldn't be an issue. Now I have to spend more money to get a matching t-shirt. I think seeing the outline of a cami would look silly so I'm looking at t-shirts with a higher neckline. I'm afraid though that seeing the short sleeves end will be distracting, but don't know that I want two full layers of clothing - the turtleneck and a long sleeved T.

One of the best sweaters I have this year. So soft and warm, but not too bulky. Sits at a perfect length for me and does not hug the body which I like because I am a (1x). It think it is true to size. They just need to get some more colors in stock now.

I love the soft feeling of this sweater but better yet, the fit is great with the looser flare at the bottom being complimentary to those of us who are larger (1X). It's nicely made. I'd buy another one or two if they were in my size but it looks like everybody else liked them too and they sold out.
