Softspun merino mix cowl sweater

I just bought this in the cobalt blue and I like it a lot. The fit is roomy without being clingy. It is thin, but I like that... It is a great layering piece on a cold day. I would like to buy it in another color, too.

This sweater is on the thin side, but so soft and comfortable. The green looks great with jeans, and I wish I'd had the forethought to get the purple, too. One thing that's a little odd is that the back hem hangs a bit lower than the front hem. Love the cowl neck, and I can dress it up even more with patterned scarves.

This is one item where the online photos do not do the colors justice. I bought this sweater in store in the deep cobalt - it is much brighter and more vibrant than the way the color shows up on the screen. Same with the green and crimson. The yarn is super-soft, perfect warmth without weight, and with none of the potential skin irritation of some wool blends. I have worn it both with and without a camisole underneath - more for extra warmth than for coverage. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is that the sleeves are a little short. Overall, a season-spanning lightweight sweater that comes in beautiful colors.

The sweater was a gift but came with a snag. I will return it and buy something else. This looks good in the catalogue but in real life is too flimsy for a sweater and will continue to snag and look bad.

This sweater is pretty to look at and feels nice but is VERY flimsy!!!!! I can see through it actually; not good in a sweater. It also snags very easily and I haven't worn it yet which is a worry. Less acrylic and more merino probably would've made a better quality fabric.

This is sooooo soft! Wonderful feel and just enough wool to make it cozy warm. drapes so smoothly. Love it.

I was hoping the sweater would hang like the picture but I was disappointed. It was short (hit around the waist) and looked like a big square on me. I usually wear a 4-6. Maybe going down a size would help in the mid section but I doubt it would help the length. It is going back.

The raglan shoulders look great on my straight shoulderline, material is very soft, warm, comfortable. I did have to go from a L to a M, as the L was enormous! The cobalt blue is a really beautiful color, and the nubbly texture of the knit really enhances it. I find some of the C.Creek cuts to be a bit frumpy, but not this item when correctly sized.
