Ponte sheath dress

I love everything about this dress--great fit, great style. Ordered my usual size for a dress with spandex in it and it fits perfect.

I had read other reviews but decided to take a chance and ordered a size up (16). Should had saved my time and money. Seams are very uncomfortable and the size is way off, much smaller than size 12 & 14's hanging in my closet. ( actually measured to be sure) Please CC, do something about the inconsistent sizing. If this problem continues I will be shopping elsewhere.

I am wearing this dress right now. It is so comfortable and just the right weight for our cool fall and winter days. I tried it on and could not believe how slenderizing the effect was. I am only 5'4" tall (shrinking with age) and I look taller and curvy but slender. This is a great dress for a woman with a fuller bust line and broad shoulders, too. And it is so comfortable to wear, while looking sleek and professional.

I am 5' 7" and weigh 147 and usually the Coldwater Creek 8 just fits, or is a little big. This is a bit smaller than the normal 8 through Coldwater Creek.
The fabric is good quality, and heavy. As someone else mentioned, the horizontal seams are a little uncomfortable, but all over it's a nice dress.

Wonderful current take on the classic sheath! Substantial fabric but no bulk. I am a curvy 14 and did order a size up after speaking with a CC agent. I will wear this until it falls apart!

Just got it and I'm wearing it today. Very comfortable yet elegant. I sized up one size since I'm "hippy" and the dress is a sheath. It fits beautifully and I love it!

I really wanted this dress to work; it's a beautiful color and style. The lines on the bodice were oddly irritating-feeling (although pretty). But the butt was very tight even in a larger size. Occasionally I size up for something more fitted in the seat area and did - but still too tight. I'm disappointed that I had to return both sizes I ordered.

I loved this dress the second I saw it online. It fits perfectly on me (sz. 14), true to size, and is a very flattering cut - it's shapely, but doesn't cling at all, and I like the slight stretch in it for comfort. The fabric is quite heavy (which is why it doesn't cling), so I think it will be warm for the wintertime. I do find the color is darker than shown online. Also, the dress is unlined - it would be nice if it had been lined with some sort of stretchy sateen material so that we could still benefit from the nice stretch, but still keep the inside seams from being directly on the skin underneath, but still overall, this dress is just beautiful.
