Silk-cotton shell

I have never submitted a product review, but feel compelled to do so regarding this lovely item! Everthing about this shell is perfect...color, fit, length, weight, drapability, neckline. I ordered this in 6 colors and would purchase in additional (and repeat) colors if available. Thanks for a great product!

I want to add my voice to all the other women who want this lovely silk cotton shell to remain a staple in your inventory. The cut, fit and texture are perfect. I would order a half dozen in a variety of colors if there were any left in my size. Please bring it back!

I LOVE this sweater that I layer or wear alone, it's always comfortable and wears so well, but I need to replenish basics and add new colors.. PLEASE, bring it back!

This is the shell I've been looking for for years. It is the first one that really fits without gaping under the arms and is the only one that I can wear without a jacket or sweater over it. It is well made. The neck and arm holes are reinforced. I love the higher neckline. I have a full bust and it is hard to find a modest shell. The fabric is beautiful and the perfect weight. I bought five of them and would have purchased more but they were sold out in my size. PLEASE MAKE THIS SHELL IN MORE COLORS!

This is my first review although I've been an avid CC customer for over 3 years. For even longer than that I've been searching for a shell that I as an older woman can wear. Low necklines are prevalent and although I might be a little jealous of younger women who still have a great chest, the fact is I don't and I refuse to wear anything that makes me uncomfortable. This shell is wonderful. The neckline is perfect as is the arm opening. I'm a size small in most CC items and the small is perfect for me. This is a basic and a must have item and I'm begging CC to keep this item in inventory and add more colors. Please don't change a thing...it's perfection and cannot be improved. Waiting for more colors in my size. Thanks for a simply perfect basic!

This is a top I really needed to go under certain jackets and sweaters. Got the warm khaki. Nice item.

For once, a shell in a large size that does not have huge arm holes. Fits well and hangs well. Will look good under a jacket or a cardigan. Pleased with purchase.

Yes, as one other reviewer said: "they listened to us" about quality. (last year's fabric & style too thin & too deep neckline) About sizing: the women's size 1 & 2 seem to flip flop on me each year, so when ordering by mail, I order one of each! However, in ordering ordering this time one only had a 2X. My box arrived today. The 1x's are very flattering for wearing "out" or in, however the one in the 2x is still a keeper because while falling more freely (& not as flattering, the armhole is not too large - no bra showing & shoulder fit fine), so do not be afraid to go for the 2x if that is all available if you too sit on the border of the two sizes.

I have been a long term customer of Coldwater Creek and for years have purchased their shells for work- they have been a stable of my wardrobe. When they changed them a couple of years ago I hated the new ones and was quite distressed. I know many others were as well. Well it seems our feedback has finally paid off as I purchased this shell and so far love it! I have not washed it yet but love the weight, neckline and overall feel! Thank you:-) Only wish had more colors...but maybe that is coming as well.

Perfect for layering! I got three and am back for more. Great under a jacket - soft but substantial. Runs very true to size, but if in doubt, order down a size - the fit is comfortable, not tailored but not boxy either. Great under the arms and a perfect length.
