Metro pencil skirt

good fit for me (size 4 petite) but having trouble with the color. Does not pair with any browns that I have. Not sure what to do with it.

I've been very happy with CWC pencil skirts although I have to order them online because my local store is small and tends to carry pants rather than skirts and dresses. I ordered my usual 8 petite but was surprised how short it was considering it's described as knee length. It was definitely above the knee, so I ordered the misses 8 and it fits perfectly. The fabric is lovely although does wrinkle a bit. I will get a lot of use out of it as it goes beautifully with most of my wardrobe (fall colors). Overall, I'm very pleased with this skirt.

It's nice to find a basic skirt that's not black or navy, which aren't my best colors. This is the same tweed as the Holly pants (I didn't realize it when I bought them both, but it's so wearable, neither one will just sit in my closet). I tried it with a dressy blouse and the look is subtle and elegant but not over-the-top. The tweed also works nicely with a plain sweater and flats for a more casual look.

just the color I have been looking for, tried it on, the skirts run small this season, went up a size, the waist swam, but the skirt fit, the length is too short for my taste, but setting down in this is another thing, runs tight in the legs, and no kick pleat, cant imagine getting in and out of a vehicle in this, you have to hike it up to your hips to get in, I would rip it, wish it was a little longer and of course, a kick pleat. will try again for this color, do love the color and fabric though.
