Daily luxury coat

very boxy fit... I agree with all the reviews. The quality and style are stunning but it just makes me look very "square", no shape... I considered altering it but too complicated. Too bad, a gorgeous coat. It would probably fit someone who does not have a defined waistline.

yes it does run small. Order size up from what you are used to. Fitted which is what I wanted. VERY elegant looking coat!! Looks normal without the fake collar. This is what makes the coat! VERY happy

It just doesn't work for me. The waist flaps are very large and do not lie flat, and add inches to your waist... and who wants that ? I really don't want to take the time or money to do alterations. Material used is stiff, in my opinion. I buy a lot of CC apparel, but this one has to go back. I really am disappointed, as it has a classic tailored look in the photo.

I really loved the coat when I saw it but they didn't have my size. I ordered an XL but usually wear a large. It was too tight. The buttons had been sewed on wrong so it hung uneven in front. I didn't feel it was very good quality. I am returning it tomorrow.

I loved this coat when I first saw it. It reminded me of a coat I bought years ago. I wanted a dressier coat instead of just the typical car coat. Two things I did do when I bought it, I sewed the buttons on tighter and I took off the pocket flaps (very unflattering location for them). It was very easy to do both, and the look is great! I receive compliments every time I wear it.

but it runs really tight in the upper carms and shoulders. Not at all flattering! Unfortunately the one that I received was missing the stitching in the lining in the left arm so I would have had to take it to be repaired even if if did fit. I truly wish that CC was more careful about the consistency of their fit!

I love this coat!All I've owned in outerwear has been jackets, but I've always wanted a longer coat to wear over dresses.It is perfect. I ordered a size up so I could fit a sweater underneath. It is cut so well, especially in the shoulders, that only I know that it's a little too big. I live in the South, where our winters can be very cold, but not harsh. Am very comfortable in it from 60 degrees last night to 38 degrees this morning.I don't think you'll be disappointed if you decide to purchase it.

I have a number of Coldwater Creek coats, but this one takes the cake. If you're looking for something that is a little dressier, this coat is for you. I've worn it a few times already and received numerous complements. Fits beautifully. Don't hesitate purchasing this coat.

This coat is light weight, soft (not stiff) and very pretty. The fir dresses it up and it has a very "rich" look. I have not taken the fur off yet, but doing so would give it a dressy casual look. I wear a size 14 and originally ordered an XL since I'm big in the shoulders. I had to exchange it for a Large. At first when I tried it on it seemed tight in the sleeves, but when I wore it the first time, it was fine. I still have room all around in it. It has a natural indent at the waist line which is where the fake pocket flap hits. There is a slit side pocket under that. I receive lots of compliments. I like the dark gray color - nice change from black that I usually wear.

Coat arrived today and I'm glad I read the reviews and ordered one size up. It is a very fitted coat. The fabric is beautiful! The 'faux' raccoon collar is very nice.
