Pretty ambitions top

I ordered the tan and loved the color. I would call it a champagne. The shirt is very sheer, thin, see through material. I could have worked with that since I intended to wear an open cardigan or jacket. But the fit was not flattering. I fluctuate between XL (16) and 1X (18) when purchasing tops from CWC depending on the style. To be on the safe side I ordered this in 1X. It fit on top (I'm 38DD), and was loose around the middle, but then snug around my hips. Just didn't work for me, I will be returning it.

This is truly a beautiful top but it shows as ivory or off white on my computer and it is more a champagne or tan color. Still a keeper, just surprise is all.

I love this top and am plus sized. I think it's quite flattering for those with a bit extra in the middle. It doesn't hang like a maternity shirt on me. I did order a size down than normal though. I am between sizes and took the chance and it worked. It's a beautiful material. I ordered in the rich turquoise color and love it.

This blouse is a beauty, but not for my plus-sized self. I ordered a 2X in the teal color.

The fabric of the blouse is very light, almost sheer. I wasn't worried -- I figured it would be fine with a jacket over it. But the smocking on the front of the top makes me look boxy, and the fabric flows from the smocking in a way that looks too much like a maternity top to me. There is not enough shaping on the sides to indicate a waistline. The top overall looked bigger and boxier than I expected it to based on the website photo.

I disliked the way this looked with pants or a skirt (too long); the length looked best to me with cropped pants.

The true test: my husband took one look and told me it was "not a flattering look" for me. Back it goes.

I love this top. I love the silken feel of the fabric, the workmanship and the way it glides effortlessly on. I feel this runs true to size. I bought this in the tan and the terra-cotta, but I love the turquoise, too. I may be back for it.

Had to have the turquoise. The turquoise and terra-cotta are such fabulous, rich colors.
