Urban savvy skirt

I read the reviews and got it in a 12 and I'm a size 12. It does have elastic in the waist. The picture makes you think this is a heavy tweed and its not. Its a soft flowing flirty chiffon and its lined. Definitely a summer work skirt. I think I will wear it with a solid bright colored tank and belt it. Not sure a cardigan will look good with the chiffon. I'm very pleased.

So thin, i thought it would be heavier, to match a jacket, i already have, but i ould have to pay shipping, and i got it at a good price, but i would only get back 3 or 4 dollars, not worth it.

Saw it at a distance, on a friend, and bought it, I am a size 4 to 6, and since i am petite, and it has elastic, it should fit.. I am thinking, I have the SALT N PEPPER boule jacket, and ordered this skirt, hoping it will serve as a nice SUIT. They seem to be the same pattern.

...apparently sizing is all over the place. Based on the last 2 reviews, I ordered an 18 instead of my usual 14. I think I could go down to a 16, so yes, definitely order up one size. I can tell a 14 would've never fit me. I'm not sure if I should exchange or not, it is really comfy this way ;-), my waist is my problem area so it's kind of nice not having it binding, but it is a bit loose. I do love the look, and the fabric will be great for this Spring and Summer.

I wear either Psmall or P8 for everything; the last two skirts I purchased from Coldwater Creek were P8 and a bit roomy -- any more and I would have returned for a P6. I could barely get this P8 over my hips -- forget about closing there must have been a six inch gap. Since the sizing was so off I went to the local store only to discover the only petite items it stocks are pants -- major disappointment. If this had been my first shopping experience with Coldwater Creek it would have been my last. Like the previous comment, I too am finding wide swings in the sizing of late -- same thing happened with a jacket this past spring.

I wear a CWC P12 in pants, occasionally P14 or P10. Ordered this skirt in P14 and could not close it. Returning for P16. Sizing seems to be extremely variable in CWC clothes these days, esp pants and skirts.

I really like this with a black sweater and belt. "Classy". It really didn't appeal to me until I tried it on in the store.
