Pointelle V-neck sweater

I couldn't wait to wear this sweater, but I was a little disappointed in the fit. It really drapes too much in the front and it now seems stretched after only wearing it once. I think that this would have worked better as a lighter top with some spandex. It's just too heavy and doesn't hold it's shape.

The green color is lovely but I found the sweater to be a bit heavy (3x) so it tended to slouch off my shoulders. It washed well but I wanted a more tailored look, not a slouchy look.

This sweater is lovely. The fit through the body is relaxed but still shapely. The blue color is more blue than I expected - it's more of a sky blue, but from the picture I expected a very pale ice blue. The v-neck is not too deep. I am a 36D and am wearing it with a white tank top underneath for modesty, but I think it would be fine without (certainly for anyone with a smaller bust).

The only thing I would change is that the sleeves are overly baggy. Size small fits well, the shoulders are right on, and the underarm is not baggy. But the sleeves are really drapey, especially at the elbow, and this is after only 1 wear. It's not enough to make me return, but a more streamlined sleeve would make this sweater perfect.

I bought this in the light blue to go with black jeans for casual wear. The deep vee is a little too much for workwear without an underlayer, but even without a cami, this sweater does NOT show cleavage when I wear it (I'm a busty 5 ft. 7 in. 3X.) It seems a little baggy and poorly tailored through the middle instead of fitted as it appears in the photo, and it could be just a little longer--another inch would be great. However, it does cover most of the tummy and hip area. It's a fairly substantial knit fabric.
