Mixed stitch turtleneck

I love this sweater! True to size and beautiful. Typical Coldwater Creek product... wonderful!

I loved this sweater the first time I wore it, but after washing it became shapeless and the stitching around the neckline became loose. So disappointing because I got compliments and really liked it out of the box. I had another online saved to order, but canceled.

The picture shows a nicely fitted, flattering sweater, but the one I received was baggy and sloppy right out of the box, with a neck so large it looked ridiculous. Maybe I got a lemon, but it's going back!

I am in between a medium and large on top and since the item description said it had a "shaped fit" I went with the large since I did not want it clingy. I was wrong. With the ribbed fabric, it is very stretchy and forgiving, and the large was just too big on me. This sweater has a substantial weight to it and is very well made. Unfortunately the smaller sizes were all sold out.

This sweater is much like the pointelle turtleneck in that is is extremely comfortable against the skin and is a nice length. I usually wear a XS or S and I've found the S in these fit perfect. I would like to see this same styling and material in a slight v-neck or crew neck on warmer winter days when I don't want a turtleneck but instead a light scarf around my neck.

This is a nice-looking sweater and fits true to size. I especially like the color I purchased which is a camel (don't recall what CWC called it). However, I got this online and when I openned the package there was a very strong, peculiar chemical scent similar to dry cleaning fluid, but not exactly that. I am thinking of returning it as I'm concerned about exposing so much of my surface area to an unknown chemical. Because I don't know what the chemical is, I don't know if washing it will fix the problem. Otherwise, I would have given 4 or 5 stars as this is a nice item.

Very happy with this turtleneck. The eggplant is a striking purple and paired with a CWC scarf I have, dresses up a pair of jeans or casual pants. Wish there were more colors in the pinks or blues. Sleeve length is just perfect. Sometimes, sweater sleeves have to be rolled up or too short, these are just right.

I ordered this in two colors expecting it to be like last year's mixed ribbed sweater, however, the body and sleeves are much shorter. I have longer arms, so I ordered a size up, but the sleeve length is just barely long enough. It's a nice sweater for the office or with jeans, so I will likely keep them and just be careful in the dryer.
