Open front textured cardi

I really wanted this sweater and waited for some time before it appeared in size
L. But it was a big disappointment. Instead if being versatile, it just looks dull, the sleeves are extremely long (below my thumbs, and I am 5'6"), and the fabric is a bit itchy. I am returning it.

I tried this sweater on in the store. Very soft and comfortable but prone to snaging threads. The sweater I tried on already had several loose threads and it had only been hanging on the rack! Can't even imagine what wearing it would do. Reminded me of my tape yarn sweater which does the same thing and has to be mended every once in a while. Also runs large in plus sizes especially in arm length. Might buy this when it goes on sale but not at full price.
