Vivid vines wrap dress

When I saw this dress I just had to try it on, and it looked beautiful on me. I am 5 ft. 3 inches tall and the size 8 fit very comfortably on me. I noticed that it is washable too which is a plus for me.

There must be some figure type that is flattered by the elastic waist with full blouson bodice, but it's not mine. On the positive side, the fabric and construction is lovely, and the idea of looping the bodice overdrape through a tab at the waist is a good one, making for easy adjustments without the fussiness of a tie. But, on my petite plus figure, the elastic waist is uncomfortable and the blouson top is clownish. It's too bad. I have a closet full of Coldwater Creek dresses, but this look is not for me.
