Eyelet stripe top

I wear a 6 petite,and bought this in a S. Before I washed it, I thought it was only ok. It is square. Not shaped like picture. But, if you wear a fitted cami under it, that helps it look more shapely. However, once I washed it, I was undone. That bias tape just curls right up and frays badly at the edges. Don't buy it unless you sew and can remove the bias tape. Bad job, CWC.

This looked great on-line, but when I received it I could not believe the cheap bias tape that was used for the horizontal trim. It could not be ironed and the edges also frayed. I liked the eyelet material and glad to see it back. I removed every trace of this tape. I could not believe how awful this trim was. I am glad I got it on sale instead of paying full price for this ugly trim. Too bad the buyers for CWC were not picky about this trim. It made this beautiful blouse look very bad. I have never been so disappointed in the quality of the clothes I buy here, but I hope another item never shows up with this ugly bias tape as a trim. This top actually looks very nice without that bias tape! Ladies, if you bought this, remove the tape!!!

The teal blue is as pictured, nice and bright. But the horizontal "ribbon" details have unfinished edges that roll up during washing. Spent about an hour ironing.

actually slimming. Not boxy on me.

I ordered this top in Petite Medium for my mom and 3X for me. It looks great on both of us, without the boxiness problem that others describe.

My Mom is slender pear with a curvy, narrow waistline. I am a middle-aged apple shape.

All I can suggest is that you give it a try because this top is a winner for some people. I've looked at all of the many eyelet tops CWC is showing this season and this is one of my favorites.

The raspberry color is gorgeous, but the fit of the shirt is boxy and the material is a bit stiff. I'll try to find something else in the same color.

Tried Petite XL and 1X but both were tight across the hips. Colors are so pretty and I really wanted to like this top. Top has no give across the shoulders in back.

I love this top, it fits well and looks great. I gave it 4 stars because it is not lined and does not come with a camisole. At this price it should come with some kind of lining.
