Ombré dots dress

I am a pear shape and wear a 12 or 14 depending on style. The 12 fits great. The waist is slightly above normal waistline. The fabric is light but keeps it's shape and the full lining gives full coverage. I'll probably have it dry cleaned in the future but the first time I washed and ironed it. It washes beautifully and irons easily. I've worn it with a turquoise sweater and a beige shrug. I'd definitely recommend this comfy, easy care dress.

I just noticed that Macy's sells what really seems to be this same dress under a different brand name. I am disappointed. I thought that Coldwater Creek had its own line of clothing.

I ordered this dress to wear to a summer wedding. Loved it. I normally wear a size 10 and found the 10 a bit big too big. I am going to order the 8 to see if it works. I think the quality of the material was up to standard. I showed it to my daughter and she tried it on and also loved it.

I had ordered this dress before reading the first reviews so I was very worried when I opened it. I am pleased with the dress and i have no problem with the quality or the lightness of the fabric; for the summer it will be great. I do think it runs a bit small...I usually wear a 4 or a 6 and the 6 is perfect. My biggest problem is going to be figuring out shoes and a sweater to go with it.

I agree with the previous review. I also was surprised at the poor quality of this dress. The color is inaccurately represented in the picture. It is very drab. The fabric background is beige, not white as pictured. The fabric appeared very cheap. I also thought I'd give it the benefit of doubt and try it on. The fit was very poor and ran small, especially in the waist. This dress was returned the very next day. I wouldn't recommend this dress to anyone.

Beware, this is NOT CWC quality. When I opened the package I almost didn't try it on. The fabric and construction are mass-market department store quality. But just to make sure I had not mis-judged, I did try it on. It runs smallish, because I wear CWC size 8, but ordered a 10 in this one because I learned from customer service that it had no stretch. 10 fit me, and 8 would not. But it was very unflattering, with a waist 2 inches too high and a poofy skirt, not like the smooth gathers indicated in the photo. Also, the belt is grossgrain with poorly stitched backing, and raveling. The shape and profile is only for a woman under 30, but I can't imagine anyone under 30 wearing a dress this much from the 60's. I wouldn't give this to my daughter or grandaughter. They would laugh. Its a total bust on all counts. This is the first CWC purchase I ever returned the same day I received it. I hope this is not a trend. I gave it one star for the color idea, which is nice.
