French stripe palazzo pants

Just received these after waiting for my size forever. They run very large and are about five inches too long. Also, the stripe is not white as shown online. It is a dark beige. I gave them three stars because the fabric is beautiful. Back they go.....

These pants are beautiful and the material flows very nicely, but... the zipper is too short and it doestn't allow enough room to get up over your hips if you buy your normal size. I had to go up one size and then the waist is a little large once they are on. The simple answer is to make the zipper an inch longer. Also, they are long for petites - had to hem them.

These pants are gorgeous which is why I gave them 5 stars. The fabric is soft and drapes beautifully, but unfortunately, they look ridiculous on me. I'm 5'4" and a size 8 and I looked like I was wearing clown pants. I'm afraid you have to be tall and thin (like a model) to look good in these. They're going back. Too bad.
