Draped dolman cardigan

I love light-weight cardigans but this one is wrong in so many ways. The fabric is so light that you can see through it (I bought navy), it's cut too short and rides up, and it comes up too high on the neck on the sides. I don't mind the dolman style but the fitted part of the sleeves are too snug. Definitely returning this!

For those of you who don't seem to know--that "bat wing" that you keep referring to IS a Dolman sleeve. So Coldwater Creek told you exactly what you were getting--you just didn't understand what the word "dolman" meant.

I think this is a very unique cardigan. I like the way the sleeves are and the way it drapes. It is something different for a change.

REALLY disappointed. Before I read the other reviews, "bat girl" was what came to my mind when I tried this on. This is most certainly going back.

I agree with the bat wing statement another reviewer mentioned. It would have been nice for this to have been included in the description. I really loved the color and the draping, but the bat wing sleeve does not work for me.

I selected this item online. In the pic it looks like a basic navy light weight shell. I did not understand in the description that this sweater has sleeves that are shaped like bat wings when you open your arms. It is also cut short. I paired it with a CWC slightly off white sleeveless dress shirt that is a little longer than this batwing sweater so it works. Since I am pear shaped, this look makes me look bulky or boxy. I will have to pair it with slimming dark boot cut jeans plus tall shoes or boots. The cut of the sweater is kind of eccentric for me. I am going to keep it anyway because I'd like to make the look work since most of my rest of my wardrobe is more conservative and it's nice to have something different. So yep, batwings, eccentric, risky...but I'm just trying to look cute over here. Hope I pull it off. But the shape of the sweater should be more obvious to online shoppers in the display pics.

This cardigan has a pretty neckline and the sleeves drape nicely. But the front is actually shorter than the back so that it rides up and accentuates the bosom (which I don't need to do). I prefer the opposite - something draping longer in the front or at least the front and back on an even line. This may work for others but it's not for me. I also think it is overpriced for what you are getting.
