Classic denim trouser

I have worn these pants for years and loved them. Not sure what change but they no longer have the same fit. I buy a size 16 and these are way to tight in the waist and very baggy and long. Unfortuneatly I washed them so I am out of luck. Coldwater Creek, what happened?

I have ordered trouser jeans before and they fit perfectly. The waist is too tight in these jeans. The legs are very wide. Not what I thought I would receive.

I had several pairs of the trouser jeans and loved them. When I ordered a new pair I expected them to be like the old ones. Unfortunately, someone has re-engineered them. The legs are SO WIDE that they're distracting to walk in. The pockets bulge at the sides and are too small (though, in fairness, the pockets on the older jeans were too small as well). I really hate these jeans.

I just got these today and the fit is really strange. From the hips down they are nice - not too tight and they fall nicely. But the waist is SO tight - like no other pants I've worn. And the piece of fabric where the belt loops sit is very thin, so it really feels like there's a rubber band around your waist sucking you in. My stomach isn't big, but becuase of the rubber band effect, it gave me a big poof under the waistband. Really odd.
