Floating stripes top

I got this in a PXL, when my normal size is an XL or a 1X, and the fit is very good. At the time I ordered, the XL in the dark indigo stripes was not available, and I knew the relaxed cut of the top would be too big in a 1X. It is a tiny bit binding in the arms, but nothing that bothers me enough to keep me from wearing it. For me, it fits my large bust, large middle, and proportionally slimmer hips just great. And no problem with the length either, it still hits mid-hip.
The fabric is pretty sheer, but no problem with a nude color bra. I love how thin and light it is making it great for Summer.

I expected this not to fit based on other reviews, but I decided to try anyway. The material has no give at all, and the fit is too tight (in the size I usually wear at Coldwater Creek). It's a bummer because it looks cute on the dressform. Might as well ask for it here - it would be easier to see how things look if they were on people, not dress forms. (A mix of different sized people would be spectacular, but not very likely...)

Unless you have a build like "Big John"---broad at the shoulders, narrow at the hips, this won't fit. I really like the color, design and material, so I ordered an XLG and 1X, just to make sure that I got one that fit. The XLG was so baggy in the shoulders, neckline and chest, that my undergarments was exposed when I lifted my arms, but the band at the bottom was too snug.

Loved the look, but the cut is uncomforable - no stretch through the shoulders and feels very binding.
