Classic shaping bootcut jeans

Tried these on in the store with the dark denim equivalent and I agree with the other reviews. They are considerably shorter in the waist and sit on the hip bones not at the waist. Too bad, the fabric is nice and thick and you can't see through them like so many white slacks. I bought the dark blue but not these.

The fit on these was a full inch shorter in the rise than last fall's onyx-wash jeans. I was so excited that CC was offering "classic" in different leg styles and (at last) in white. And so disappointed that the fit on both this pair and the slim-leg jean that I ordered are short-waisted -- much more like the "natural" fit. These will be returned, and I'm giving up my dream of white jeans for the summer.

I bought these online and just received them (16L). The fit is good, but the control panel is visible through the fabric in the front - not sure it can pass as a VPL. That's part of the problem with white jeans. I'm also torn about the bootcut leg - I think I like the mini bootcut better, but that's a personal choice. Still debating if I'm going to keep them or not.
