Painted mist scarf

I went to the store to look at this scarf. I found the blue one at the store and it is beautiful. The salesclerk owned one of these scarves and told me to fold it down the middle and then tie it. This way, you don't see the back. It works!

Very weird, they took a nice looking soft scarf and attached a rough scratchy piece of gauzy nylon on top. Was this supposed to make it elegant? Unfortunately this just doesn't work and in spite of the great sale price, it is going back.

The scarf is actually 2 layers, a lightweight printed see-thru mesh layer, which has a very rough texture, sewed to a slightly better underlayer. The underlayer is only printed on one side, and the UNprinted side is to the outside, so it limits how you can wear it. Loved the print, but I dislike the fabric texture, so it's headed back. Disappointed...
