Ripple effects blouse

I loved the look of this blouse on the catalog model, but when I tried it on in my usual size small, it was too large and baggy and I felt like I was wearing my mother's clothes. Maybe it's the fabric or the style. I just didn't like the look of it, and I agree with the pleat issue -- weird! It's going back.

The same problem as previous review of Cmakowski. Odd wrinkles on both sides at the top of button placket. It's a pity because blouse fits true to size and is nice. I had to return it too.

After ordering two different sizes only to have to return them for not fitting, I am concluding that this blouse, while a great idea, is shoddy workmanship. The 14 that should have fit me was too big. Okay, sent it back, got the Medium (10-12) which should have worked....but the blouse I received had an odd wrinkle both sides at the top of the button placket. Couldn't iron it out, tried it on, and it fit too tight right there at the top of the placket. Not up to my idea of Coldwater Creek standards.

Shirts like this often look boxy on my hourglass figure, but the smocking in the back as well as the darts and small pleats in front make this blouse fit beautifully. It looks great with navy and white. The medium fit true to size.

Love the color, big this spring. Style and fabric are comfortable, not boxy due to front seaming and back shirring. small pleats give style but not too much fabric. Got the 1X (use to be XL18) and it fits perfectly, buttons don't pull. Great for office, dinner or weekend. Will wear it with skirts and pants in white or navy. Love it.
