Shimmer wave sweater

I bought the blue one and love this sweater. I hand washed it and it looks great. Wish it came in more colors. Over all, I am very pleased with it.

Saw this in a store in blue and tried it on. Loved it! got the small, which is my normal size, and find the loose fit attractive. I've gotten compliments every time I wear it, and I've work it for casual or "business casual" as it looks good with a nicer pair of slacks. Washed inside out, cold, with woolite, no dryer. So far, so good. Love the gentle shimmer.

This sweater arrived and it is scratchy, boxy, not soft and not what I expected. Very disappointed as it looked lovely in the catalog and online. It went back.

In the catalogue photos, this sweater, in gold, looks lovely and even a bit understated. In person it is gaudy and unattractive. In addition the "relaxed fit" was SO relaxed that an XL (my usual size) hung like a shapeless and way too big bag. One try-on was all it took to know that this item is going right back.

I bought the blue sweater. Love the cut & color. Unfortunately when it was washed 95% of the shimmer disappeared. I did not return it because I didn't mind the navy blue color that was left after the shimmer washed away.

The shimmer blue color is very nice and I like the relaxed fit to the sweater. It is true to size. I would definitely buy this again if it was offered in other colors.
