Travel knit maxi dress

I loved this dress when it arrived comfortable flattering fit I have a large bust and it was nice to see a dress that didn t gape in the bodice But even though I followed directions to wash on delicate in cold lay flat to dry it shrank a lot Now it s a few inches shorter and a bit tight in the bust I m thinking about contacting my local store and seeing if CWC will do a refund or exchange Very disappointing to find something you love and then it doesn t hold up

Love this dress! Have received many, many complements. Extremely comfortable and flowing. Glad to see the travel knits returning to CC. My teenage daughter "borrows" it and adds a colorful scarf for a fun effect.

The 2X fit well; what I usually get. Might be too small in the bust for larger chested women - I'm a C and it was snug.
The fabric was so sheer my beige bra shone through it.

This dress runs a little looser in the hips than other maxis Coldwater has this season, and also longer. I am 5'10 and it is floor length. I pair it with a jacket, and it is my favorite outfit. I do worry about how the fabric will wear, so I may pick up another before they sell out.

I was very disappointed when the dress arrived, to see that it had the cross-over top and the band below the bust...This was not mentioned and was not noticible in the all black photo. I always wear a jacket with my dresses, and I wear this dress backwards, under the jacket, to hide the cross-over and hoping the band is not noticible. Several years ago I bought a back maxi, travel dress from Cold Water Creek...It was absolutely plain, and I love it! It's showing wear, and I thought this dress would be it's replacement, but it isn't!

I usually wear a size 4 in CWC, so I originally ordered this in an XS. I am 5'6, 130lbs, 34D. The XS was too small in the bust area, so I returned it for a S. Perfect fit! I love that this dress can be worn with a bra with no worries about straps showing. It is very figure flattering too. The only changes that would make it perfect are sewing the cross bodice seam all the way (it is only tacked at the top and gaps open below that - so you have to sew it if you are busty). Also, it is a tad too long. I like to wear flats with my maxi dresses and this just drags the floor a bit when I do.

This is a great, simple maxi! I live in the desert southwest where summertime temps get to 115 to 120, low humidity!This dress will be cool & not wrinkle or stick in the hot weather! I bought 2 of the cutaway cardis & the pink will go over this dress when in the always too cold airconditioned buildings. I love this fabrication, it never wrinkles & is easy care! I ordered the 1X & it fit perfectly! I am 5 ft 3! I highly recommend!

The dress has ruching that hits right at the stomach as well as an additional panel in the front. The ruching doesn't lay flat and the seams from the panel hit right on your legs. Size, length were perfect, but the bumping from the ruching caused the dress to go back.
