Liquid gold necklace

This looks faded and brassy. Cleaning it is very difficult because the strings are made up of hundreds of small beads. Still looks dirty after cleaning. Sorry I asked my husband to get this for me as a gift.

Got the necklace despite some of the poor reviews. It is nice
and looks great on. I tied it into knots and it gave it personality. As for the fading if you clean it, as with sterling silver, it will give it the new look it came with. Glad I purchased it.

I've wanted this necklace for Years!! Finally bought it and like so many other reviews was rather disappointed in the gold coloration. More brassy than gold but the necklace lays nicely and paid a low price so I will keep it.

The silver necklace was a retirement gift from my best friend. I've had it for a year now. It is gorgeous! I get complements on it every time I wear it.

I agree with everyone that the silver one is by far the best one, but I bought two of these during a flash sale and I experiemented with one, by putting it in sterling silver jewelry cleaner and it came out looking like real 18 kt gold and it is stunning. If you don't mind the work, the necklace is worth it

I love the silver, but the gold went back to CWC. Very cheap looking and would not recommend. Love CWC but sometimes they disappoint me.

My husband bought this necklace & earrings for me several years ago. I kept it in a separate box but after just a few wearings, all the gold disappeared off the necklace & earrings, leaving it looking like dirty brass. Very disappointed and would not recommend.

I, too, was very disappointed in the color of this necklace. I love the silver one, but this gold looks like cheap brass. I loved the feel of it. Returned it.

I have loved this necklace for years and always promised myself if it ever went on a really good sale, I would buy it. It did, so I did.

The gold plate looks like a cheap gold brass colour, not the lovely gold in the pictures. No wonder it was on sale.

The feel is lovely and drapes as I had imagined, but it will be going back since it looks so cheap. I am so disappointed.
