Taffeta occasion dress

I order this dress in a size 12 petite. I love the color online and wasn't disappointed when it arrived. I wore it to my company Christmas party and received several compliments. The only issue I have with it is the wasteline. The torso seems a bit short to me. (That's the only reason I gave it 4 stars instead 5.) It wasn't enough of a bother for me to return it, though.

Normally i love cc, but this was a complete waste. First, the fabric feels like plastic! You can not lie to me and tell me it is taffeta. I have a real taffeta dress hanging in my closest that thaat my mother made my and there is no competetion. The color of the purple is lovely, but the feel is tragic. Secondly, the construction is so strange. The bust was a bit tight and the hips were loose. If you are blessed in the hips department, do not buy this. It looked like a circus tent on me. No petticoat needed or desired. If i could rate this a zero, i would. I suppose the one star is for the amazing color, its only saving grace.

I ordered this dress according to the sizing info, and it was too big. However, the dress is very well made, a beautiful color, great fabric,it has POCKETS, and the inner lining is well made. It was no longer available in a 12, the 14 too big, so I may try the 10. Hope it fits, this is a nice dress.

I ordered this to wear for my second wedding. It is very classy and simple. The iridescent color is so beautiful. Fit on me is great. I am 5'8" and a size 10 with a small bust. No alterations will be needed.

I was very excited to see and order this dress and I was not disappointed. The color is a deep purple with hues of dark magneta. I am a size 14 with heavier top and the dress was true to size and very complimentary. I am 5"2" and the dress is tea length on me perfect for holiday dinners, opera or theatre evenings. It is a simple and elegant design that you can add your favorite accessories to or wear a shawl with. This dress will be a special occasion item for me for many upcoming events. Thank you CWC.
