Vivid pleated dress

I knew when I read the other reviews for this dress that I had to get it - unlike many of the other reviewers, I am short-waisted, so I was sure the waist of this dress would hit me in the right spot, and it does! Extremely comfortable dress, very flattering, and packs well for travel with very few wrinkles. Not crazy about the silvery belt, and usually replace it with a scarf-belt. I'm a plus size, so I got it in a size 20, and it fits perfectly.

This dress is very high waisted. It is hard to wear. too many pleats, and it came so wrinkled I dont know if I would have been able to remove all of the wrinkles if I wanted to keep it. It is going back. I have not had good success with Coldwater Creek dresses lately.

Comfortable and does not wrinkle in the suitcase. I bought a wider belt.

After reading the other reviews I was reluctant to purchase this dress, but I had been wanting the dress for a long time. I was not disappointed. The waist fit me very high, I wear it as an empire waist and do not attempt to even make the dress look like it has a regular waist. I removed the belt immediately. Belts are not my thing. I found had a brocade type jacket from a previous season that matched the dress perfectly. When I wear the dress and jacket with a scarf, I have a beautiful dress up outfit. Thank you CWC

I personally love it!! Besides that the sleeves don't get till the wrist and I like it when they're long, but it's a gorgeous dress!! Bought a size 4 and very happy with it! Got a ton of compliments :)

Like others have said, this dress is very short waisted. I used a wide belt and it looked better, but it still felt strange having the waist seam so high. I kept the dress but probably should have returned it.

Coldwater Creek, please heed our comments and make dresses with a longer bodice!!! This is one of the main reasons I don't wear dresses more often. Almost anything I try on in the stores is too high waisted for my build, and end up looking like an empire waist dress.

The red is a wonderful colour, more like red wine than a bright red. Yes, it is a bit short-waisted, so if you're long-waisted don't even think about this dress. The belt is cheap looking; swapping it out for a wider belt improves the look of the dress and covers both my own waistline and the dress waistline. I would recommend it to a friend provided she was short-waisted, as I've had many compliments on it.

i bought red. it is beautiful, the fabric soft and flowing, while you will need to wear a spanx for any bit of tummy ( any tummy breakes the fall of the fabric)it has the feel and look of the white Marilyn dress I haven't had a dress this great in 30 years. tempted to buy the outer color

It is really closer to burgundy than red. The waist was very short (high). Tried several wider belts to no avail. The skirt was a shade deeper in color than the top. The skirt was also surprisingly heavy and pulled on the bodice with wrinkles resulting on the front at the shoulders.
