Ribbon yarn™ cardi

I bought the shell in the Iris color which made me want to order this matching cardigan. I love them both. The shell was true to size 16 but I got the cardigan in size 18 and I am glad that I did. The cardigan seems to run smaller.

Have been admiring the ribbon yarn cardigans and shells in the Coldwater Creek catalog for months. Do not live near a store, so had to order online. The cardigan seems to run big. I ordered a 1X which is what my measurements match, and an XL just to be sure. The 1X was way too big, and the XL was very roomy, too. Honestly may be a size L in this sweater. It is very stretchy fabric. Hits at hip area, which may not be the best for some people. Sweater can be dressed up or down. Not sure how well it launders as I haven't washed it yet. Think care must be taken not to stretch the fabric out when laundering. The shell is much more fitted than the cardigan.

I agree with another reviewer..size up on this one, unless you want backfat to show. I wanted this tank & cardi in the peach and white colors, but waited till I found them in a store to try on. I'm glad I did, because the salesperson looks at my frame and always grabs a size M for me..when I really needed a size Large for a proper fit that is smooth across the back & shoulders. Haven't had these before, so hope they wash like a dream as others stated.

The yellow is very beautiful. I will make my Mother proud, its her favorite color on me. Well made and beautiful sweater!~

Bought my normal size 2x and it fit perfectly. Don't like my tops tight. I am 5ft8 and the length is mid hip and turned up sleeve once to make 3 qtr. length. The brown has a slight tan or white thread and looks expensive. Wore it with a CC tee and was very comfortable. Made a nice outfit with khakis. Have not washed yet so deducted half star. Wish I had gotten shell at same time. I find most CC products out of my price range but got this on sale and had a coupon. CC sales are the best.

I purchased the dark navy and brown to have a basic classic open front sweater. I just LOVE the feel and texture of the tape yarn knit and it fits beautifully...love the longer length and the fact that it is not drapey...

I love this sweater. It's better looking in person than the picture, and it is very becoming. I saw it in the store and bought it in light brown which is a nice neutral color, and I also ordered it in pink. Since I am small the short sleeves almost reach down to my wrists which I like. I bought it in Med, my usual size, and it runs a tad small, but still fits well. I highly recommend this sweater.

Love the sweater and shell color, however I have febrezed the sweater and had it hanging outside in the fresh air for three days and it still has a lingering smell of oil to it. If I can't remove the smell, I will be sending it back.

I just bought this sweater in white, and am considering ordering another color. It's perfect for throwing over a tank top while in an air conditioned environment.

I love the sweater, it looks great with the tank or with other tops. I have had the ribbon sweaters before and they wash like a dream, however the size that I normally purchase for sweaters is a large. This one was more like a medium and I felt poured into it. The biggest bummer was using the coupons that I used that were about to expire and then receiving the too small sweater and matching shell. Those coupons were wasted! I would recommend this product but get it a full size larger than normal!
