Knit denim bootcut jeans

I have these pants and several other of your stretch jeans. I have to concur that the change in the fabric has been for the worse. The first two years, the jeans (which had jean-stitching and a denim look) fit great. I still have one pair that is not worn out and I love it.
At first I thought the change (without jean-stitching) was a change for the better, but the fabric is heavy (at least on the black, olive and brown) and doesn't drape right. As others have noted, the fit is not as good as before, though I think this may be because of the shift in the sizes across CWC, not because of the pants themselves. The big problem, really, is that the knit fabric is no longer soft and jeanlike. They are not really jeans, just pants with jeanlike pockets.

They are okay--but I miss the old fabric.

I consider the previous version of CC knit jeans to be one of the best articles of clothing ever created. I was so looking forward to getting them in black. I should have listened to the warnings of other reviewers. The fit of these is just uncomfortable. As others have said, the legs are tight from the knees up the thighs. The waist is looser than last years, but the rise is strange. I find myself constantly pulling them up, but, since the legs are so tight, they won't go. These are a real disappointment.

These have been my favorite jeans for years! Recently I ordered two new pairs - to my surprise the new pairs are much smaller! The waist is lower, the rise is shorter and the thighs are much too tight. I KNOW my current pair in the same size did not stretch out and they fit perfectly. I could not return these fast enough ... Coldwater Creek ... I used to be able to order anything from your site with confidence. I cannot shop here any more now that you have "New Sizing." Too bad ... I used to really like this site ...

Great fit and feel. Very comfy, but also slimming. They do look like dress pants a bit. I always have problems with the CWC jeans I buy. They seem always large in the thigh area, and I have to wash them after each wearing, so they are not baggy, but these keep shape nicely.

I Was looking forward to receiving the jet black knit jeans, but when they arrived I was suprised to find that they sat much lower and the rise was very different from my previous pairs. So much for ordering on line thinking that there was consistency in the sizeing.

Great pants. I love them.

These are my first Coldwater jeans. I was really looking forward to them but ended up disappointed with the fit. They are cut too wide in the thighs for me. I do have narrow hips so they might be perfect for someone else. I do love everything else about them. I also bought the knit denim slim leg and had the same problem so they are both going back.

Ordered these Tuesday night received Saturday wore them Monday. Everyone in the office wanted to know where I had bought them, (they thought they were dress pants). I don't know what others mean when they indicate the material isn't as thick, I thought they were actually thicker. Love, love, love these and I'm buying more. CWC's pants have always fit, but these are much better since they are not as large in the thigh area as in there regular bootcut slacks and jeans. Very slimming.

I am a convert. Somehow these knit denim jeans are so slimming and forgiving, even as they cling to your shape. They stretch with you but don't get baggy. Very comfortable, good fabric weight, and wash well too. I wear a size 12 long, these are true to size.
