Ponte Holly pant

I bought these on sale. I typically have to hem off the rack pants. I took a gamble based upon the reviews and the sale price. The shrinkage during washing was about 1.5 inches. Now a perfect fit!

I LOVED the fit and comfort of these pants - bought them in 4 colors...I didn't trust myself with washing after reading the reviews so I took them to the drycleaner...the black ones came back about 1.5 inches shorter - the dark navy did not shrink. I am so very disappointed.

I absolutely love the fit and comfort of these pants. I bought four different colors. However, after following the washing directions to the letter, the pilling got so bad it was embarrassing to wear them. I just returned them. Not only did they pill, I had to repair the hems and waist bands. This product needs a very close review of the quality control and fabric. Please correct this problem and I will buy every color you make.

I have 2 pair of these pants. I love them. However, I DID have a problem with the black ones pilling ... I wear them anyway ... I never put them in the dryer ... always hung them to dry ... They look nice and you can pair them with just about anything... wish there were more colors, though.

I have 7 pairs of black ponte knit pants. I have worn four of them, and all have pilled so badly all over to the point that I only wear them at home. I wash wrong side out in cold water and hang them to dry. I haven't been wearing the 5th pair long enough to know if they will pill. I love them; they are so comfortable and look so good. That's why I keep buying them, but something has to give. I've worn my navy and brown only a few times so they have not pilled. I have had no problem with shrinking, but after reading reviews, I am scared to wash my grey pair. Please solve this problem.

I bought a pair of ponte pants a long time ago that I fell in love with so when I saw they were alvailable again I ordered 2 more pair but when I recieved them the material was different. It was much heavier and thicker material. When washed, it shrinks. not nearly as comfortable as my old ones. I really love my first pair and wish they would not have changed the material. I won't order anymore of these.

Love the weight compared to the prior fabric which pilled horribly...so much so that my husband who is no clothes critic told me to get new ones. However, when I ordered this new one (in LONG thankfully), they shrunk at least four inches. I had been expecting to shorten them as I do all the "long" ones to get just the right length. These I will only be able to wear in the summer with sandals as they almost look like crop pants. And yes, I did, accidentally put them in the dryer with the ones that pill.

These pants are fabulous. Look professional but are as comfortable as my Nike running pants. I wear them to church a lot where I sing in a choir and hate the restriction of a belt on many pants. I too have had trouble with shrinking. I always wash in cold and tumbled dry in the lightest heat setting and found they had shrunk. I tried the second wash and drip dry method and it worked for the brown but not the black. I would love some other colors like white, cream, taupe and khaki! And bring back the Olive Green in fall, please! I missed out on that color but have all the others.

Don't understand why people complain about these pants when they DRY them in the dryer!! It clearly says on the label to line dry. Not only did mine not shrink, they also did not wrinkle when I hung them up and smoothed them out to dry. I also have had NO problem with pilling but mine fit properly and don't rub in the thighs (and I am not thin). These pants stretch quite a bit and are forgiving to wear so maybe those who have pilling issues actually need a bigger size? Love these pants!!

Read all the reviews so was extra careful washing, but alas, accidently got in dryer, on cool and shrunk upppp. I am hoping to try what others have to stretch them. If it doesnt work they will be too short.
