Knit denim slim-leg jeans

I have tried to order more of these jeans and the new "knit" or "stretch" jeans you have are more like thick tights and not to my liking. These jeans are actually light jeans, not leggings, and like all jeans they stretch a bit as you wear them and shrink back when you wash and dry them. But they don't shrink too small like some jeans do! I LOVE them and want 2 more pair!!! I have NYDJ and love these so much more...and for less money, too!

Please restock these (P6)! I'd love a second pair. Great fabric, great style, great fit. Yes, they stretch out, but a hot dryer (to "almost dry") gets them perfectly back to where they started. Best slim jeans I've found!

After reading several reviews, I noticed several people commented about the jeans stretching out after several washes. I don't know if these people are using the dryer but this has been my experience. Since there is so much stretch in the fabric, the dryer heat will break down the fabric over time. I hang these to dry--I know it's a pain!- but the fabric is holding up well and the color is staying true. It's been 4 months and I have 2 pairs. You can give a little them a little tumble for 3-4 minutes if you want, then hang. I can see the difference between these and an older pair from a year ago that I put in the dryer and now look like rags in comparison. Never put knit jeans in the dryer!

I have some CC white knit jeans from a couple of seasons ago that I love, in a nice, fairly heavy fabric that washes really well and doesn't stretch out much. I ordered two pairs of these in black, and would definitely not order again or recommend. The fabric is much flimsier than the old ones and they stretch out like crazy--they fit perfectly when I put them on, but within an hour I have to keep pulling them up--they are so loose I can take them off without unzipping! I am very disappointed.

I bought these..and they stretched in the hip area..wow.! But still tight in the lower leg.....I so wanted these to work...Back they will go....

I think these pants look look and feel nicer than jeans. They are a deep color and so far after 3 or 4 washes are staying that way. They are stretchy so are way comfortable. Because they stretch so much I suggest buying a size smaller than you would normally take even if you struggle getting them on the first time. When I bought some in my regular size, by the end of the day I did not have to unbutton them to take them off, and the legs were too loose.

I never thought I'd be able to wear skinny jeans, but these look great and feel wonderful! I'd wear them every day if I could get away with it. I am a "largish" size 14, and the size 12 fits perfectly without stretching out too much. I am 5'10" with a regular 33" inseam, but have found these to be just right in regular length. I have not had a problem with fading.

I love the way these fit - though, as other reviewers have said, they tend to stretch a bit.
Have 2 complaints: #1 - they fade & bleed like crazy. Tried setting the color with a color setting product and also added vinegar to wash. Even with few washes, always in cold water, they still fade and will rub off on your hands, lighter clothes. Surely Coldwater Creek can use better quality dyes. #2. I think the back pockets look like old lady pockets - not very flattering, but I wear long tops so the pockets don't show

I agree with a lot of the other reviewers - these pants do stretch and you will get your best fit if you order one size smaller than you would normally order. They do tend to fade quickly but overall are a good buy.

These jeans really do live up to the hype. They fit great, look great and are comfortable all day. Dress them up with a blazer and heels or down with a t and sneakers. Buy them snug - they do tend to stretch out a bit. The pants run true to size but the inseam runs long: I'm 5'7" with a 30" inseam and the petite fits me perfectly.
