Cabled duette sweater

I love everything about this sweater. I ordered the red in 2X. Not stiff but flowy enough to hang close but not cling. I am large busted, so I did not find it low cut. Bra didn't show. Did not find back too sheer. And best of all washed 2 times in the machine and hang dry to look like new. No pilling.

Great sweater but it's important to note that the back is kind of see through. The front has a panel but the back is just the loose knit. Would be fine with a camisole underneath.

This sweater is perfect for spring or fall, or for cool summer nights. Comfy and washes well.

This sweater is perfect for almost any time of the year. The photo does not really do this sweater full justice: the braid portion is an inverted V that works well for those of us with a figure as it both highlights and reveals well.
Personally, I believe this top runs large (perhaps why one reviewer said it revealed her bra) as I typically wear M-L in sweaters. With this sweater, I found I could wear either S or M favorably, but I opted for the M as the more flattering fit.
The geranium color is like a vivid coral pink and both colors have luminous threads that make this sweater unique. I do wish CWC had more than two colors!
And yes, the knit is slightly open-weaved, so some may feel more comfortable with a matching camisole or bra underneath. Note that this would only be apparent in the back, as you essentially have two layers for coverage in the front.

One would think that with the 'underneath layer' this would work well without a camisole or shell but it is terribly low cut, my bra showed, and with this design you can't wear a shell under it. a shame, the geranium color was stunning. I wanted it to work. Am glad I tried it on in the store, I'd have been really frustrated had I mail ordered it and paid shipping.

I just purchased this in the wild geranium color, and I adore it. I wear an XL (very busty) and this is a great weight and outstanding fit for me. Doesn't cling, and I will be careful to watch for snags, but will treat it like the fine knit it is and will not worry. Very pleased!

I love this sweater. I purchased the large and the size was perfect. I normally wear a size 12. I have had no problem at all with snagging. I am very pleased. It is a dressy looking sweater.

What a disappointment!!! This does not seem at all like the beautiful soft silky tape yarn like CWC was known for years ago...it seems stiff, too loosely woven and thin and snags easily.. Also stretches out throughout the day..

This sweater is so cute, very pretty, and flattering, yet sadly... such a waste of money. Every single sweater in my size on the rack had snags in it. I finally decided to try one in the wrong size just for an estimate, but it snagged on the hanger from another garment before I even tried it on! I suppose if you live in a bubble, this could work for you; but if you wear a seatbelt, carry a purse, own a dog, or have a kid, forget it!
