Latticed bead necklace

The necklace arrived in a bag. When I opened the bag, beads spilled out everywhere. What a dissapointment! I returned it to the store.

I don't see how anyone could wear this with the length it is! I was trying to figure out how to fix it and thanks to all you ladies for explaining how so now it sounds super easy!!

Shorten it which ever way you wish, as it is definitely worth the effort! My daughter and I have both colors, and have had many compliments on both!! (4 stars only because of the need to shorten.)

Yes, yes...I understand and read that this necklace is too long (which it is). After a quick trip to the craft store, I replace the cord (which sort of looked like clothesline rope) with a metal chain. Viola! In less than 5 minutes the necklace is wearable and a more realistic length. After reading the reviews, you can continue to use the corded pieces and therefore not invest any more time or money into the piece. It is a strikingly beautiful necklace once fixed. If you are handy, this should be not problem.

I agree, this necklace is far too long when you receive it. I am not sure who it would look good on with the length it came with, but in about 5 minutes I was able to alter it and make it perfect. I took the gold connectors off of the rope and trimmed about 6 inches off each side. Then I put it back together and now I love it. I get many compliments when I wear it. Great statement necklace!

The moment I saw this, I had to have it. I got the blue which is a little on the teal side (perfect)! It's true to color on the screen. I wish they made this in yellow, the more neon the better! Hint hint. The beads are nice quality and not too heavy. The necklace is LONG. Laughably-this-must-be-a-manufacturing-error long which is weird because it's USA made! However, a pair of needle nose pliers, scissors, and extra wire later, I had shortened it by 15 inches, still keeping the original rope and end caps. Hint: straighten out the wire loop on one end of the rope and slide the cap off, the rest should be pretty self explanatory. Took 5 minutes. Easy. Buy it. Make this in yellow please!

I ordered the coral and turquoise necklace after seeing what a great statement piece it can be with my wadrobe. Seeing this in a magazine, the rope looked short that had me thinking it would reach my chest. However when I put it on it's waaaay too long. I've made neckalces before, so all you have to do is remove the rope and buy some chain and make the necklace as short as you want.

I was so looking forward to getting this necklace and matching bracelet in coral. The color is bright and beautiful and the quality very good. I knew this was going to be a bold statement piece, but it is way too long. At 5'2" it nearly reaches my waist.
