I'm 5'3", 170 lbs Petite L. This dress is gorgeous. Fit is lovely. I expected to wear this to "not casual" events all summer.
HOWEVER: I crouched down to pick something up off the floor and the skirt fabric SHREDDED where the placket is stitched at the bottom of the dress.
Then a button popped off as I got up, but I was afraid to crouch down to pick it up!
Very, very, very disappointed.
(I wore it once - to church, so you know I wasn't over-active.)
I'm keeping the slip....

I also hesitated on buying this dress - shirt dresses can look dreadful if the fit isn't right. But this one does it perfectly. Great fabric, fabulous fit.

Came back to this dress and finally ordered it. Really glad that I did. It fits well, true to size and has a slip attached to shoulders that I clipped and put on the slip first. It is figure flattering and wears well and easy. It washes well. I wash in machine and hang to dry. Great dress to take on vacation.

I hesitated ordering this dress based on the first two reviews, but kept coming back to it and decided to take a chance. I am so glad I did! The dress is feminine and elegant. As for the slip, it is basically a long spaghetti strap tank that is attached by a few little threads at the shoulder seams. I simply clipped the threads and separated it from the dress. Easy as can be to put on the slip and then the dress.

This dress is a little shorter than I would prefer (I'm 5'8") but the burnout print works well and if you look good in dark colors, this one works. Yes, the attached slip is a little strange to get on, but certainly manageable, and does enhance the dress.

This dress has an inner slip attached at the shoulders that makes it EXTREMELY difficult to get into. Plus it's not very attractive on.
