Tassel tie belt

I bought a brightly colored one. Here I am wondering how to wear this. I'd love to have someone tell me. I love CC clothing, but this item baffles me! If I could make sense of this belt, I would give it more stars....

I just bought this belt in the Wild Geranium. It is too cute in real life! I did go up a size so there would be plenty of length to knot it or let it lay lower on the hip area. I wear lots of blacks and whites and bought this belt to give a pop of color. I might go back and get the brown as well...
