Smocked V-neckline top

I ordered this in purple. It looks really nice. The 2x fits well, i,m a 40ddd, so I have to worry about the chest area to fit best. Not clingy at all.

I should have known better, based on the way this item lingered in the collection, but I thought I'd take a chance. I bought a 10-12 after reading that this runs on the large size. The top was so loose that it wouldn't even stay on (think "carmen" neckline off the shoulder). The fabric, while a lovely color and similar to the super-thin silky "everyday T" CWC offers, is not appropriate for this style: WAY too thin and clingy. I don't understand why designers can't recognize the difference between "cling" and "drape". For it to DRAPE, the fabric has to have some substance, otherwise it CLINGS. I don't have much in the way of rolls, but boy, did they show up in this top, when I wasn't hoiking it up to stay on my shoulders. Packaged up and mailed back in today's post.

Great fit and it does run a bit large. I ordered one size smaller & it was perfect not baggy. Very comfortable.

I ordered this in green and LOVED the color - I tend to wear mostly blue-greens and often other greens are too yellow for me - but this was a really lovely color. Unfortunately, the way the blouse fit just did not work for me - I think if I were two or three inches taller it would have been very flattering (I'm 5'4" and wear a L or XL depending on the piece). I had to return it because, on me, all the fabric bunched up around my chest and it looked silly (and if I pulled it down long enough to smooth out that area, it came halfway down my leg).

Got this top in black. I love the way it fits. Very figure flattering, super comfortable. Hour glass body type. The fabric is perfect for Fall. I'll be ordering the purple next.

but after 1 washing this top stretched so it has to go back...I recommend that you size down...

I really wanted to like this top. The detailing was beautiful but the fabric was too clingy. If you have any extra fat around your waist or tummy, this will cling to every roll! I thought about exchanging it for a larger size but then I was worried the neckline would hang too much---so I just returned it.

The fabric feels wonderful to touch, but I found it extra clingy and the fit was not flattering at all to me.
