Paisley chenille jacket

I bought my usual size 4 and it fits perfectly. The sleeves are loose enough to wear a longsleeved top or light sweater and not so big a sleeveless top will not work. I wear it with black pants or a periwinkle skirt. As it has not been worn and cleaned multiple times yet I just gave it 4 stars. It it does well after several dry cleanings it is a 5.

I love this jacket. Fits true to size, comfortable. I did not find it boxy. The colors are not as pronounced as the photo on the internet, but the variation is definitely there. I wear this with charcoal grey pants and a periwinkle blue sleeveless turtleneck and get many compliments. The only thing I am disappointed with is the fabric where the seams come together. The chenille threads have lifted in places and hang away from the material.

I really like this jacket. I read other reviews before I bought it and took a chance. The size (PL) fits perfectly and the blending of the colors is pretty. Looks good with a sheath and scarf or with jeans and turtleneck.

I am not sure what jacket the others have reviewed, but it is not the one I received. I ordered both the PM and PL. I normally wear a P10 or P12. This is a lined jacket, which feels very bulky when worn. It is too hot to wear indoors all day. The cut is boxy and could benefit from buttons to give it an hourglass shape, not the hook closure. The fabric feels like a velvety chamois used for heavy couch or curtain upholstery. I wanted to like it, as the colors are perfect for giving black pants and jeans a little color boost, but it just looked too boxy and old on me.

I ordered this online, so when I opened the package and laid it out on my bed, I didn't think I was going to like it, but when I tried it on, it was flattering and smart looking and fit perfectly (Petite 6, my size) as the picture showed. The colors over black are very smart, more lavendar than purple, with a touch of goldish-brown running through; could be worn with dressy black pants or a black skirt, or dressed down with jeans. I have purple knit jeans from CC, and I was hoping this jacket could be worn with them. Not so. The jeans are a different shade. The turtleneck in the picture looks great with the jacket and brings out the lavendar color in the jacket. Hope I can find the right shade of purple shell to match as the picture shows. That might be tricky. Don't know why they describe it as chenille - it's more a brocade material in my opinion, only a softer feel. I guess that would be the chenille. Thumbs up. (plus I got it on sale at a great price!)

I have a curvy pear-shaped figure and have a number of CC jackets that fit beautifully in Petite Large, all of which are shaped. This is NOT the "relaxed fit" I would expect and is both too small overall - barely hooks closed - and especially too tight at the hip. My prior purchases all still fit, so I have to conclude that CC has changed cuts to fit a much more straight body type. Too bad; it was one of my few sources for interesting jackets for work.

The purple is maybe a shade or two darker than the picture. But I am a 1X and it fit perfectly. Can be dressed up or down, jeans or dress pants. Not too heavy, great construction.

This jacket looks and fits great. Can dress up a pair of black jeans or add to a skirt or dress slacks.

I always receive compliments when I wear this jacket. It's an attractive print without being too flashy. I am pleased with the fit.

The only caution I have is that the hook of the hook & eye closure can easily catch on the fabric, so I had trouble with "pulls" on the fabric. I finally took it to the dry cleaner and had her sew in a button and loop closure to get rid of the hook and eye.

All in all, I'm very happy with the purchase and do recommend it.

Fits true to size. Unlike some reviews I do like the colors. This is a classy jacket and it can be dressed up or down given the event. Lobe the feel of the fabric as well.
