I first bought this in the red. Always get compliments on it. Now I have it in the red, green and navy!! I wear 10-12, and the medium fits perfect. I love the longer length, and the fact that you can wear it loose or tighten the waist. It is a keeper!!

Love the green color. I ordered two sizes and went with the smaller one. I have narrow shoulders and in my true size, it just was too big. I can't quite zip it, but it still looks great open.

I will say that the green color is gorgeous and I loved the fabric!

The fit is horrible unless you want a boxy fit. When I cinched up the elastic bands on the inside of the vest (shown in the photos), the bottom sides of the vest poofed out making me look like I had huge hips. NOT a flattering layer that I wanted.

I am slim @ 5'7.

Revised Review Re Navy Color

I realize now that the navy vest does not always look black indoors; is just that its blueness is highly dependent on the amount of ambient light. If there's a lot, it does look blue indoors. But is definitely a color-shifting aspect to the material.

The Navy Is Dark

The navy color is much darker than appeared on my screen. During the day it looks black with dark blue undertones unless the sun is shining DIRECTLY on it. In the direct sun, the blueness of it does emerge more. But wish it looked as blue in indirect light. The garment looks very well made.

I love this vest! It can be dressed up or down. I bought it in red--perfect for casual Christmas gettogethers. I hope Coldwater Creek continues to make this vest in different colors. Black or cream would be great. The fit is true to size.

I had been looking for a outerwear vest that is flattering for quite a while, but when I purchased the navy one, I was so happy with how it fit and the light shimmer, that I purchased the red one! Both look great zipped or not.
