Party perfect velvet dress

The cumberbund on the dress does not go all the way around and is very short. It ends in the middle of your waist. I was disappointed in this dress. Thank the Lord for Coldwater Creeks liberal return policy

We expected that the skirt was more grey on the bottom from the picture, but were pleasantly surprised that it was black. The cummerbund is actually smaller than shown in the picture, but the fit of the dress is perfect. It will make a wonderful "concert" dress as well.

This dress is short-waisted and short (not mid-calf as described). It will cost me quite a bit to mail it back (I live in Canada), but I would never wear it as it just isn't proportioned properly.

I agree with the other reviewer, the middle section is odd and akward. Plus, I usually wear a solid 10 or 12 at CC, and this lacked a good 5 inches from zipping together. The dress is also a lot shorter than the description, an inch above my knee. Going back. Ick.

The chiffon cumberbun on this dress DOES NOT go all the way across the front as pictured, but instead is only about 8" across! This causes the velvet on either side to droop! It looks like a sack! The chiffon skirt is pretty and floaty but the waistline COMPLETELY RUINS this dress! It would have been far prettier to have the chiffon go ALL the way around the dress! The addition of illusion sleeves would have elevated this dress. Sadly as is, I just don't see ANYONE looking good in this dress!
