Cabled V-neck sweater

Beautiful sweater, but it runs a bit small. I'm definitely a medium and this ran small--short sleeves, too. Every time I wash it it shrinks a bit more. Now the sleeves are a good 2" too short and the sweater fits snuggly. Don't know how much longer I'll be able to wear it! I'm not fond of the gaps in the cables, but so far they're not a problem.

This is an awesome sweater and a beautiful color. I wore it with leggings and it was long enough to cover what needed to be covered. The "V" is perfect not too low. The best thing about it is the weight of the yarn. Silky and soft. I love it. Holes?? if it fits right the holes don't show, kind of neat that they are there.

I love this sweater; color, fit, fabric! However, in between the folds of the cable down the front are gaps. When I bend over or sit, the front buckles out a bit and you can see right into my skin. I fixed it by running a few hand stitches on the inside, but I thought it should be known.

I really like this sweater. It fits well (very true to size) and the colour is so much better than pictured. It's almost a cranberry red, not the washed out pinky red that shows on my screen. As for the cable problem, I guess I am lucky because they only gape a little when the sweater rides up and all I have to do is gently pull it down. I'm about average, maybe a smidge larger, in the bust department and the sweater sits beautifully in that area. I'm a knitter and know that when making cables there is always an opening where they cross over each other. I think the problem here is that the crossovers are quite far apart which makes the openings larger. As another reviewer said, a few stitches will do the trick to close the gaps. For the sale price it's worth it.

Not only does the cable gape open but the sizing is off and the fabric is very thin. I know I could stitch the cable but why should I have to do that? Should not have been made this way. The fit pulls it too tight across the bust and causes folds. I am returning it.

I purchased this sweater knowing about the holes in the cable design. Thanks reviewers! I put about four stitches with a red thread on the reverse of the sweater on each loop. It took 5 minutes to fix it. The price of this sweater made it worthwhile to do. Also, the color of this sweater is a rich, deep red, not the orange red shown in most of the pictures online. The picture of the model leaning on a chair has the correct color. I loved the fine knit. It looks and feels luxurious at a bargain price!

This is a nice sweater except for the way the cable down the front has been done. If the sweater is not a perfect fit for you it will gap open. It is strange how it is made. I guess just a way to cut corners on the quality. It's not like any cabled sweater I've seen before. Very strange. Otherwise, it would have been a nice sweater.

I love this sweater, but it has holes that open up in the middle of the cables. It makes it awkward to wear, especially across the chest. I wear a 10-12, and it fit well otherwise. Will have to return it. :(
