Drape detail wrap dress

This is a lovely dress. It fits true to size and is very flattering. I get many compliments when I wear it. It can be worn causally or dressed up. This would be an easy dress to pack for a trip as well.

I bought the maroon drape dress last year, wear pearls with it. I just received the big leaf scarf in maroon as an alternative accessory, draped over the shoulders and down the front. Was afraid the dress was too detailed, but it works out fine.

The color is on the brownish side of maroon - actually a nice change from basic black. I wore it on a cruise with nude shoes, a black cami just to fill in the neckline, and iridescent burgundy beads to give it some sparkle. Packs well. I am 65 years old, 5'2", 125 lbs. and the size 6 fits great. Not too wide in the shoulder, drape is at the waist, hits just below the knee. On the negative side, it is not the most expensive looking dress so I'm glad I got it on sale.

Classic fit and cut and so versatile. Looks just as good with strappy sandals as it does with boots. Can make a lovely conservative or business look with some sheer black hose and pumps. The wine color is stunning and looks good on any skin tone or hair color. The fabric has just the right amount of cling for enhancing curves. I loved the dress so much that I ordered a second one when on sale, after I had lost a few pounds. I keep my original size 10 for a business look and wear the size 8 as a sexy little dinner dress.

This dress was a great purchase. It drapes beautifully. The price was really inexpensive for a dress that looks really expensive

I'm so glad I followed other reviewers' advice and ordered a size up. The conservative color and fitted shape are a nice combination. The deep V front requires either a cami underneath or a couple of stitches to hold it closed.

I bought this dress at a very good price, and was really looking forward to wearing it. However, when I put it on I was so disappointed, as it is very boxy and the back is so plain that my curves were invisible.

Took it back to the store.

I bought this dress in a size 8 and I find it fits well. Normally CWC sizing seems big to me, so maybe that is the issue some people were having with it fitting small, in that it just isn't consistent with CWC sizing. I am 5'4" and 142 lbs, so hopefully that helps people find the right size. As for the look of the dress, I find that it's not overly clingy and it's very flattering. I wore it with leggings underneath (it was a cooler day) and I had no issues with static or the fabric revealing the seams of the leggings. The only issue I had, in fact, was that the top of the dress tends to gap open when I sit down. The drape is acceptably conservative when you put the dress on and move around standing, but I found that I was showing some bra when I sat. I wore a tank top underneath and it solved that problem. I got many, many compliments on this dress when I wore it, and I intend to make it a staple of my wardrobe.

I found the fabric to be more substantial than expected (maybe the other reviews set my expectations low). I love the color, which tends toward the browner side, not rosy side, of burgundy. The knotted waist effect is great, disguising the stomach when viewed from the front, but not quite as flattering from the side. It was true to size for me. I considered wearing a tank under it, but that widened out my waist. So get yourself some Hollywood tape, if it seems a wee bit too low, and that will keep it secretly in place. Best of all? USA! USA! Well, that and the price.

Like others have said....too short and too small, even with ordering size up. I can't figure out why there is such a disparity in sizing from Coldwater. I frequently order 2 different sizes of items but still sometimes don't get the right one.
