Chiffon camellia shirt

I bought this in the store, so knew the feel of the fabric was stiffer and that it would be a layering piece. The colors are lovely if you have spring or fall coloring, so tanks in cream, peach, pink, even berry work well underneath and carry this piece from spring through early fall. It's a tad brighter than the photo, but not obnoxiously so. The cream color is correct in the photo.

I just purchased this blouse Saturday. I absolutely love it! The colors are gorgeous.
Some of you are saying that the colors are too bright and a fuschia color, unless you received a different dye lot mine is nothing like that. It does require a cami which is okay with me. I purchased mine in a store, not online, so I knew exactly what I was getting. I'm very happy with my purchase.

What previous reviewers have said is true-colour not as pale as pictured, fabric a bit stiff and shear making a camisole or tank needed. However, living in FL it is pretty much a year round blouse depending what you wear underneath it and can go with several colours. Still a keeper for me.

Very dissapointing. No even close to chiffon. No breathy, holding tight to every wrinkle. Bak ham ralls up.

Sheer it is, certainly. No prudent woman would wear this without a cami beneath.
Chiffon? Not in my lexicon. I think of chiffon as limpid and drapey, floating and fluttering, not crisp as this is, not so eager to take and hold a crease.
Tunic it definitely is not; this garment comes at most to low hip.
And rose camellia? Meh. Think dark coral edges segueing to a center eerily resembling a bad bruise. Oh, and on an ecru ground, not white.
CWC, whatever were you thinking?

I ordered a size larger than my usual 1X, which was a good idea due to the shaped seaming.

However, the shirt was not what I was expecting.

The colors are much darker and brighter (so, a beige background, not white, with bright magenta flowers, not soft pink). Furthermore, the fabric was "glittery," which I wasn't expecting. The color and sheen might have been OK, but the fabric texture was disappointing.

The fabric was extremely stiff, wrinkled, and completely sheer. (I knew it would be somewhat sheer, but not THAT sheer!) I was hoping for a fabric that would drape, but this was much starchier and stiffer (while being wrinkle-prone at the same time). This shirt just did not work for me.
