I purchased this in the gray and think it is a nice sweater for cooler weather. I am 5'6" and do not find the gathering in the back to be too high or look funny. I think it is flattering and accents your waistline. I wish it had a button or closure of some kind but besides that I think it is great. True to size.

I bought this in the dark grey and really like it. The only negative thing is I wish it closed more in the front.

This is a nice sweater but I had to return it. This is not made for people with long torsos due to the gathering in the back.

I purchased this item on sale at the Coldwater Creek store in Austin, waiting for the price to go down. Every time I wear it I receive compliments. It is a versatile piece as with many CWC items. Depending upon the accessories, the sweater can be a go to sweater or a dressier compliment to any cami! A great buy! The style is not boxy, nor are the sleeves "longish".

I bought the heather gray and really like it. It's lightweight and falls nicely - I've worn it several times and it still looks great. I'm short, so I had no problems with the gathering in the back. It's a keeper.

Agree with a previous reviewer that the gathering in the back is too high, and I am only 5'5". Also, very thin fabric. I purchased the light heather gray, and the front edge looks very unfinished & cheap. Not completely awful, but going back.

I visited a CC store for the first time, with the sole intention of returning a few items. And then I saw this. The gray is just lovely on, everything falling exactly where it should fall. And it's true to size. Before I could leave without exceeding my return amount, a kind (and skilled!) salesperson presented the lavender ruffle shirt that's pictured on the model here (although it has sold out on-line). And even though it was waaay too big for me, it looked so good under the sweater that I had to get it, too. My advice? Buy this sweater in gray and choose from one of the many lavender tops on this site. You may be able to find a stray ruffle shirt at a local store. It's true...you WILL look smashing!

I purchased both colors and when I washed them, they smelled awful. It reminded me of a strong perm odor. However, when they dried, the smell was gone. Other than that, I love them both.

Liked the sweater but just received in the mail and the gathering in back is too high on me at 5'8". Made for shorter person.

Just bought this in a store after seeing the display. It is so yummy with the lavendar shirt with ruffle; Soft but also classic. I live in AZ so the front closure is a non-issue. Still happy!
