This shell fits great, looks cute, reveals just the right amount of skin and it is my go-to layering piece. By the time I got it, most colors were gone. Hope CWC brings it back.

I bought this shell and the matching cardigan in 'hidden lake' and wore them with dark brown pants. I was shocked to see the number of pills that fell on the pants, as well as on my desk chair! After reading the other reviews, I am afraid to wash this for fear of shrinkage and permanent wrinkling, so it will undoubtedly require dry cleaning. Sad - I was excited to see it on sale and had planned to order more, but now I don't know if I will. I do like the feel and fit, but this is the usual CC quality I count on. I am sure glad I got it on sale for much less than the initial price!

When the other reviewers say this pills, it not only pills on the sweater, it pills onto your pants or skirt, onto your seat belt, onto the chair at work; even onto the keyboard tray. Let's just say it pills AND sheds!

Love the look but the quality isn't there. Don't expect to get much life out of it. Washed it and it was a wrinkled mess. please bring back your "indespensable sweater shell" you used to offer with the straight neckline and the ones with the crisscross mock turtleneck. Those were awesome and really have held up great.

I bought this sweater with the matching cardigan because I loved the ones that I had bought in the past. Unlike the older ones, this one pills badly. The jewel-tone colors are beautiful but the quality is not the same.

I bought this comfortable shell in rust and wear it under brown or my safari tan jacket. I typically wear a medium and a small fit fine so the shell runs a bit big. The shell sheds minimally on my undergarments. I would buy this in other colors.

I bought this shell to wear over a white button down. It shed so horribly, that I was mortified at work. Can't get the black shedding off the white button down now. Wore it once, washed it carefully and it still sheds. Very disappointed.

Bought this in purple to wear over a white blouse and under a black jacket. I bought the graphic check pencil skirt to complete the outfit. Got a medium to fit over a blouse otherwise I would have purchased the small. Great look! Seems purple is in this fall and winter, I like that.

I wore this once and loved it. Then I washed it in cold water on the "handwash" cycle of my washer and let it air-dry, and it shrunk alot. I liked it so much I ordered a replacement (thank goodness for sales!) but will wash it in the sink or dry-clean next time. I would have given it 5 stars if it washed better.

Love this shell. Purchased in steel blue. Disappointed I can't get in the burnt umber! The catalogs continue to show this color as an option, but no longer a choice when ordering online!
